Welder & Welding Procedure Qualification Tests:

CASTCO is the first company being accredited (formally approved on 11th July, 2000) by HKAS * as competent to carry out all the four NDT testing methods as applied to 'Construction Materials', namely,

  1. * Radiographic Testing(BS2600:Part1:1993)

  2. * Ultrasonic Testing(BS3923:Part1:1996)

  3. * Magnetic Particle Testing(BS6072:1981(1986))

  4. * Penetrant Testing(BS6443:1984)

  5. * Eddy Current Testing

  6. * Welding Inspection

All of the above testings are carried out by our qualified ASNT (American standard) and/or PCN (British standard) Level 2 and 3 staff. Apart from performing inspection on weldments as approved by HKAS, our company also provides inspection (including welder and welding procedure qualification tests), training and other consultancy services for the various industrial sectors.
