Before concreting, Ultrasonic Earth Echo Test can be used to monitor the size of bored diameter, bell-out and the verticality of bored-pile foundation.
To test a completed pile, one of the following three Pile - Non Destructive Testing method can be employed.
(a) Sonic logging test for concrete piles(In-house method FPT-SON-LOG)
(b) Pile driving analysis test (PDA)(ASTM D4945-1996)
(c) Pile integrity test (PIT) (ASTM D5882-1996)
Pile Non-Destructive Tests can be used to evaluate the integrity of concrete foundation elements, pile capacity, driving stress, hammer efficiency as well as pile integrity, including the assessment on the quality of driven and cast-in-situ piles and pile length estimation.
