The compressive strength of concrete is determined

in accordance with The Hong Kong Construction

Standard CS1 : 1990 or British Standard BS1881.

Our concrete cube testing laboratory offers on of the

largest working capacity in Hong Kong. As a matter of

fact, in the year 2002, CASTCO has been awarded all

the four concrete cube testing term contracts by the

Government. These term contracts handled all the

cubes cast fot the concrete used in all Government

projects in Hong Kong. In addition, CASTCO also

offers Specialized and high-end concrete testing

service in the industry including Repaid Chloride

Penetration test, Alkali Aggregate Reaction test,

creep test and temperature Rise Evaluation test in

fresh conrete. In 2001-2002, we have been awarded a

concrete mix study contract by the Highway

Department through a Consultant firm to develop a

design mix for the Route 10 Project in Hong Kong
