Concrete Core Laboratory

In addtion to the compressive strength test of concrete core, our concrete core laboratory is capable of providing compressive strength testing of concrete block and brick; paving block; clay paver and interlocking block. The compressive strength of concrete core is determined in accordance with The Hong Kong Construction Standard CS1 : 1990 or British Standard BS1881.
Our curing facilities provide storage for about 3,000 cores simultaneously. We have five compressive testing machines ranging from 10kN to 4,000kN. Our working capacity is about 180 cores per day.
